THE Nigerians Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has issued a comprehensive weather forecast predicting a blend of sunshine and thunderstorms across the nation from Thursday through Saturday.

Released on Wednesday in Abuja, NiMET’s weather outlook indicates sunny skies over the northern region on Thursday, with occasional cloud cover.

There are also prospects of afternoon and evening thunderstorms in parts of Taraba State.

For the North Central region, NiMET anticipates cloudy skies interspersed with intervals of sunshine.

Thunderstorms may likely cover parts of Kwara, Kogi, Benue, and the Federal Capital Territory during the day.

Moving to the Southern region, predominantly cloudy conditions are expected, with chances of morning thunderstorms over portions of Cross River and Akwa Ibom states.

Looking ahead to Friday, NiMET forecasts sunny skies with sporadic clouds over the northern region during the morning hours. In contrast, the North Central region is expected to experience cloudy weather with brief spells of sunshine in the morning.

Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms are predicted over various states including Ondo, Enugu. Imo, Edo, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers, Lagos, Bayelsa, and Cross River.

With this detailed forecast, Nigerians are advised to stay informed and prepared for the dynamic weather conditions anticipated across the country in the coming days.
