FALSE RECRUITMENT advertisements targeting employments at the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) have been debunked by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd).

Consequently, the Company issued a public warning, cautioning Nigerians to remain vigilant and not fall victim to fraudsters exploiting the situation.

NNPC clarified that there is no separate recruitment process for the PHRC. The ongoing recruitment, which began last year, covers all NNPC business entities.

Candidates who passed the Computer-Based Aptitude Test are now proceeding to the interview stage.

In a statement signed by Olufemi O. Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer, NNPC emphasised, “The fake recruitment links being shared online are scams crafted to deceive unsuspecting individuals. We urge the public to rely solely on official channels for accurate information.”

The company also reaffirmed its dedication to transparency in its recruitment process and advised against engaging with unofficial sources.
