THE MANAGEMENT of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Retail Limited has announced decisive actions against staff members at an Ikorodu-based filling station following a social media video showing a pump attendant attempting to swindle a customer.

According to a statement by the company, a thorough investigation confirmed the incident occurred at the specified station in Lagos.

NNPC Retail Limited categorically states that such behaviour is unacceptable and contradicts its commitment to integrity, transparency, and exceptional customer service.

“Such behaviour is unacceptable and does not reflect the company’s commitment to integrity, transparency, and exceptional customer service,” the company asserts.

In line with its sanction grid, NNPC Retail Limited has disengaged the pump attendant involved, suspended the Station Manager, and issued a formal warning letter to the Dealer.

The company appreciates the public’s vigilance in reporting the incident and encourages continued feedback through designated customer service channels.

“NNPC Retail would like to thank the public for their vigilance and encourage the reporting of any incidents through the appropriate channels for immediate action,” the statement reads.

NNPC Retail reassures customers of its strict enforcement of operational standards across its network of filling stations.
