OFFICIALLY INDUCTED four new permanent secretaries into office on Friday, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun said he was emphasizing his administration’s dedication to fostering an environment conducive to the state’s growth and development.

The newly appointed permanent secretaries are Mr. Bernard Olanrewaju Ogunyinka, Mr. Augustine Adekunle Oyesanwen, Engr. Olanike Olawunmi Ogunbona, and Mrs. Arinola Nusirat Adetayo.

During the swearing-in ceremony held at the Executive Council Chamber of the Governor’s Office, the governor reaffirmed his commitment to enhancing the welfare of public servants and advancing all sectors of the state’s economy.

He urged the new appointees to collaborate effectively with their commissioners and other political appointees within their respective ministries, departments, and agencies.

Abiodun admired the new permanent secretaries for their dedication, commitment, and exemplary service to the state, noting that their appointments were well deserved, highlighting the crucial role they play as accounting officers responsible for overseeing various MDAs (Ministries, Departments, and Agencies).

He also lauded the Ogun State public service for its core values of integrity, discipline, loyalty, and a passion for excellence, which distinguish it among public services across the nation.

Expressing his gratitude after taking the oath of office, Mr. Ogunyinka thanked the governor for the opportunity given to them and pledged to contribute to the state’s progress through the administration’s ‘ISEYA’ mantra.
