THE NIGERIAN National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has reduced petrol to N835 per litre, marking its third price cut this December, a survey of Abuja filling stations confirmed on Thursday.

The state-owned firm said it lowered its pump price from N915, representing a N80 adjustment.

The move follows earlier fuel reviews by MRS, BOVAS, and AA Rano, which set their prices between N739 and N865 per litre in the capital.

NNPCL and other filling stations’ reductions came after Dangote Refinery and depot owners lowered ex-depot prices to between N699 and N800.

Also, the NNPCL and other stations had previously cut fuel prices on December 4 and December 10, 2025, as well.
