FOR INNOVATION and excellence, Polaris Bank is hosting a workshop aimed at empowering Nigerian journalists to stay ahead in the fast-evolving media landscape.

The 2024 workshop, themed “Integrating AI Tools in Contemporary Media Practices for Innovation and Excellence,” is part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts to build capacity in the media sector.

The event will take place on October 24, 2024, and is open to all journalists, offering them tools and skills to tackle the challenges of modern journalism.

A key focus will be on artificial intelligence (AI) tools and how they can enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Participants will also explore topics like data journalism, fact-checking, and solutions journalism, critical in today’s digital media environment.

Polaris Bank has enlisted top media professionals, including Dr. Chike Mgbeadichie and Lekan Otufodunrin, to lead the training.

Their expertise will help attendees navigate new technologies, develop career strategies, and strengthen their roles as watchdogs in society as interested applicants are encouraged to apply via: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=PKyPR6HIeEKZDMDZdHDQMwkeOX7YhQFBr-sBE4Oo4sVUNTE1RFRYOEZRUVJWNUtVMUFTSTBQWDBYRC4u.
