PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu is set to embark on a diplomatic mission to the Netherlands at the invitation of Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

The visit will include high-level discussions with Prime Minister Rutte, as well as separate meetings with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, who serves as the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development.

During his time in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will take part in the Nigerian-Dutch Business and Investment Forum, aiming to foster collaboration and partnerships, particularly in agriculture and water management for sustainable farming practices.

Discussions will also focus on port management operations, an area where the Netherlands excels globally.

Following his engagements in the Netherlands, President Tinubu will head to Riyahd, Saudi Arabia, to attend a special World Economic Forum meeting.

The forum, themed: “Global Collaborating, Growth and Energy for Development,” will bring together over 1,000 leaders from various sectors.

President Tinubu plans to leverage this platform to advance his Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigeria.

According to his special assistant on media and publicity, accompanying President Tinubu will be several ministers and senior government officials.
