THIS WEEK’s report reveals two sides of Nigeria’s insecurity: armed groups retain the capacity for mass attacks and abductions, but intelligence-led operations are also producing important rescues.
The Kaduna operation is particularly significant. Police said information from road transport workers helped security personnel locate 75 abducted travellers before the kidnappers could move or disperse them.
