NIGERIA’s PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu met with Nigerians in China, highlighting the success of his visit.

He expressed his determination to implement the best of China’s infrastructure in Nigeria.

He called for collaboration from Nigerians in the diaspora, stressing the importance of their contributions to the nation’s growth.

Tinubu’s discussions with China’s leaders, including President Xi Jinping, centered on enhancing bilateral ties in trade, green economy, energy, and finance.

He acknowledged the significance of China’s disciplined approach and pledged to replicate their infrastructure efficiency back home.

During his interaction with the Nigerian community in Beijing, Tinubu underscored that his administration is working on improving educational standards.

He emphasized the need for modern teaching facilities, stating that “our children deserve good schools, not dilapidated buildings.”

He praised Nigerians in China for their excellence, particularly their fluency in Mandarin, and urged them to remain ambassadors of the country.

He also assured them that reforms back in Nigeria, particularly in the energy sector, are already yielding results.

In response, Dr. Oche Barnabas, President of NIDO China, applauded Tinubu’s leadership and vision.

Barnabas urged the president to push for Nigeria to be recognized as a native English-speaking nation in China to open more educational opportunities.
