A HISTORIC joint declaration has affirmed full commitment by all parties to the Trump Peace Agreement, signalling the official end of more than two years of conflict and suffering in Gaza and opening what the signatories described as “a new chapter for the region defined by hope, security, and a shared vision for peace and prosperity.”
According to the signed statement jointly released by the leaders of the United States, Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye, the agreement marks the beginning of a cooperative framework aimed at ensuring peace, stability, and prosperity for both Palestinians and Israelis.
The leaders expressed unified support for President Donald J. Trump’s diplomatic efforts, pledging to implement the accord in a way that guarantees security, stability, and opportunity for all peoples of the region.
The statement emphasised that true and lasting peace would be built upon the protection of fundamental human rights, mutual security, and the preservation of dignity for both Palestinians and Israelis.
It reaffirmed that progress in the region must be achieved through dialogue, cooperation, and sustained engagement rather than conflict or unilateral actions.
The leaders noted that the region’s deep historical and spiritual importance to the world’s major faiths — Christianity, Islam, and Judaism — demands respect for its sacred sites and heritage.
They pledged that protection of these places would remain a central principle in their collective pursuit of peace and peaceful coexistence.
The joint commitment also addressed the need to confront extremism and radicalisation in all forms.
The signatories stated that no society could flourish where violence or hatred is normalised, or where radical ideologies threaten civic life.
They vowed to counter the conditions that breed extremism by promoting education, economic opportunity, and mutual respect as pillars of lasting peace.
In affirming their determination to resolve future disputes through diplomacy rather than force, the leaders stressed that the Middle East must not continue in cycles of war or stalled negotiations.
The joint declaration underscored that recent tragedies have shown the cost of failed diplomacy, serving as a reminder that future generations deserve a stable and peaceful region free from the mistakes of the past.
The agreement commits participating nations to promote tolerance, dignity, and equal opportunity for every person regardless of race, faith, or ethnicity.
The leaders pledged to work toward a Middle East where every individual can pursue aspirations in peace and security while enjoying the fruits of economic progress.
Reaffirming a shared vision for comprehensive and durable peace, the statement recognised the progress achieved in establishing long-term arrangements for the Gaza Strip and in strengthening cooperation between Israel and neighbouring states.
The signatories declared their intent to “work collectively to implement and sustain this legacy,” ensuring institutional structures support a lasting peace for future generations.
The declaration concluded with a united call for nations and communities of the region to build upon this foundation of mutual respect and shared destiny.
“We commit ourselves to a future of enduring peace,” the leaders stated, marking what observers describe as a milestone moment in the history of Middle Eastern diplomacy.
He said the peace accord earned the endorsements and signatures of US President Donald J. Trump, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani of the State of Qatar, and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Türkiye, respectively.
