NIGERIA’s FINANCIAL dais witnessed a significant boost as Union Bank rewarded 452 UnionKorrect account holders with over ₦21 million.

The draws, held at the Douglas Road Branch in Owerri, Imo State, were closely monitored and supervised by relevant regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and fairness.

In the UnionKorrect Regular category, 100 customers received ₦25,000 each, 40 customers were awarded ₦50,000 each, and one fortunate customer clinched the grand prize of ₦500,000.

The bank said that the UnionKorrect Exclusive category saw 75 customers winning ₦100,000 each, 10 customers securing ₦500,000 each, and a grand prize of ₦1 million awarded to one customer.

Additionally, the UnionKorrect DeiDei accounts rewarded 200 customers with ₦10,000 each, 24 customers with ₦20,000 each, and a grand prize of ₦100,000 to one customer.

Adenike Olokunbola, Union Bank’s Head of Elite Banking, expressed the bank’s commitment to supporting customers in achieving their financial goals.

She stated, “Union Bank is happy to aid our customers in achieving their goals and dreams through campaigns like this one. Our UnionKorrect accounts give customers a sustainable avenue for meeting their future objectives with the bonus of being rewarded for consistently saving over time.”

The UnionKorrect savings product is designed to encourage a consistent savings culture among Nigerians. Account holders commit to saving a fixed amount monthly over a period of two years, earning competitive interest rates on their deposits.

This disciplined approach not only helps customers build substantial savings but also offers them opportunities to win attractive cash rewards through regular draws.

Union Bank says its initiative stresses its dedication to promoting financial literacy and inclusion.

By incentivising regular savings, the bank aims to empower its customers, enabling them to meet future objectives and unforeseen expenses. Such programmes play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of financial responsibility and planning among Nigerians.

For other customers interested in participating, opening a UnionKorrect account, it is straightforward.

It urges existing the bank customers to set up a sub-account linked to their current or savings account, committing to monthly deposits as low as ₦5,000.

Over the two-year period, these consistent contributions not only accumulate with interest but also qualify account holders for the quarterly draws, offering multiple chances to win substantial cash prizes.
