THOUSANDS OF Nigerians have benefitted from Union Bank of Nigeria (UBN)’s fourth edition of the Save and Win Palli Promo, which culminated in a grand finale where three customers walked away with ₦5 million each.

The nationwide campaign, which launched in December 2024 and ended in May 2025, has now delivered over ₦330 million in cash and prizes to more than 5,000 savers.

Final prize presentations took place at The Stallion Plaza, the Bank’s Head Office in Marina, Lagos.

Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Isah (Zaria Branch), Atilabor Seikemefa Friday (Sapele Branch), and Oluranti Ogunluyi (Ilaro Branch) were named as grand prize winners following a transparent, electronically conducted draw, closely monitored by regulatory authorities.

With total giveaways surpassing ₦131 million in this season alone, the Save and Win Palli Promo has grown into one of Nigeria’s most impactful savings-based reward programmes, offering significant financial uplift to customers across all regions.

Prizes in this edition included motorcycles, tricycles, fuel vouchers, and substantial cash incentives.

Union Bank’s Head of Retail and SME Business, Vivian Imoh-Ita, stated that the initiative continues to empower savers with financial relief while reinforcing long-term saving habits.

“Over the past four years, the Save and Win Palli Promo has enriched the lives of thousands, providing crucial financial relief and rewarding diligent savers,” she said.

Chief Brand and Marketing Officer, Olufunmilola Aluko, underscored the broader impact of the initiative on Nigeria’s savings culture.

“Union Bank is delighted by the ripple effect our targeted savings initiatives have created. Our innovative promotions continue to cushion economic challenges and foster responsible financial habits,” she explained.

To qualify for the promo, customers were required to maintain a minimum balance of ₦10,000 and conduct at least five transactions each month.

Monthly draw winners received ₦100,000, while quarterly winners secured motorcycles, tricycles, and other significant prizes.
