Chrisland Founder Dr Winifred Awosika Honoured by President Tinubu @85

DECADES OF dedication to education and youth development in Nigeria have earned Dr Winifred Awosika national recognition as she marks her 85th birthday.

President Bola Tinubu, on her birthday, lauded the founder of Chrisland Schools and Chancellor of Chrisland University for her transformative impact on the education sector, acknowledging her lifelong commitment to shaping future generations.

In a statement signed by Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu highlighted Dr Awosika’s pioneering role in private education, crediting her with instilling values of excellence and discipline in thousands of Nigerian students.

He described her as a beacon of knowledge and nation-building whose contributions remain invaluable.

Beyond education, the President also commended Dr Awosika’s entrepreneurial achievements and philanthropy, noting her efforts in human capital development.

Moreover, he acknowledged her moral values and selfless devotion to empowering young people, describing her as a role model for the nation.

Expressing his gratitude to her, President Tinubu wished Dr Awosika continued health, joy, and fulfilment as she celebrates this milestone.
