Delta Governor Calls for Spiritual Dedication to God for Transformation

The significance of churches as places of refuge and divine transformation was the highlight during the dedication of the new auditorium of Jesus Christ Temple Ministry at Ebrumede roundabout, Effurun.

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, urged Christians to utilise the temple as a space for prayer and spiritual renewal.

During his remarks, Governor Oborevwori described the church building as a vital kingdom investment.

“This is not merely a physical structure but a sanctuary where lives will be transformed, prayers will be answered, and God’s name glorified,” he said.

Reflecting on the construction process, the Governor recalled intervening to preserve the church building when initial plans called for significant alterations.

“As an Elder in the Living Faith Church, I couldn’t allow a church structure to be destroyed,” he stated, reaffirming his commitment to protecting places of worship.

Responding, Prophet Amos Evomobor, in his sermon, praised God for enabling the project despite his humble beginnings and lack of formal education.

He recounted his journey of faith, emphasising that God uses the “foolish things to shame the wise.”

Prophet Evomobor shared testimonies of healing and miracles experienced through his ministry and urged others to embrace divine assignments, no matter their background.

The Governor also received commendations from the General Overseer for his impactful leadership and ongoing development efforts in Warri and its environs.
