NIGERIA FACES significant threats to its unity and progress, including bigotry, insurgency, and economic challenges.

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has called on citizens to address these issues collectively to ensure the nation’s survival and development.

He emphasized the importance of perseverance during difficult times and urged Nigerians to reflect on how they can contribute to the country’s future.

Governor Oborevwori highlighted the efforts of his administration to mitigate the effects of fiscal and monetary reforms.

He said the Delta State government increased beneficiaries of the D-CARES programme from 36,353 to 208,209 people, marking a 473% increase.

Additionally, he noted that more than 5,000 traders and artisans received business support packages through the MORE Grant Scheme.

He also pointed to investments in agriculture, where over 6,000 farmers were supported with farm inputs.

The state’s goal is to create a robust agricultural sector that drives economic growth and ensures food security.

Oborevwori further lauded President Tinubu for integrating youths into national development efforts and assured that Delta State would align with these initiatives.

He promised ongoing infrastructural projects and a revitalized security framework to ensure a safer state for all.
