WARM EASTER greetings have been extended to Christians nationwide by the Globacom telecommunications, encouraging them to reflect the virtues of Jesus Christ in their daily lives.

The company marked the 2025 celebration by praising Christian faithful for their devotion, calling for a renewed commitment to peace, love, and selflessness in communities across Nigeria.

In a statement celebrating the season, Globacom underscored the symbolic power of Easter as a time to remember the life and sacrifice of Christ.

“Peace, love and sacrifice are the central message of Easter,” the company said.

“Christ offered himself in atonement for the sins of the world and lived a life which made Him an eternal symbol of peace and goodwill for mankind.”

The telecom firm encouraged Nigerians—regardless of faith—to draw lessons from the selflessness exemplified during Easter, noting that such values are essential to the growth and progress of the nation.

It called on all citizens to unite in a shared mission to foster harmony and uplift the country.

“Selflessness is a necessary ingredient in the growth and development of every society,” the message read. “We enjoin everyone to join hands to make Nigeria a better place for all.”

Easter, which follows a solemn season of Lent marked by prayer and fasting, is celebrated by Christians as the culmination of Jesus Christ’s suffering, crucifixion, and resurrection—a cornerstone of the Christian faith symbolising hope and renewal.

Alongside its Easter message, Globacom also reassured subscribers of seamless connectivity throughout the holiday period.

The company promised uninterrupted voice calls, internet access, and SMS services during and after the festivities, urging consumers to explore the full range of its telecommunications offerings.
