CANDIDATES CAN now verify and upload their O’Level results from home as the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) introduces a new system that allows direct verification with examination bodies, JAMB’s Acting Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, said on Monday.
JKNewsMedia.com reports that under the new arrangement, Benjamin said candidates are advised to first visit buyresultsverificationcode.ng, enter their NIN and click “Verify NIN”.
Then, they are asked to select the number of sittings and the relevant examination body or bodies, provide their email address and GSM number, and make payment by debit card or bank transfer.
After payment, candidates will enter their examination number, examination series and examination year, verify their results and obtain a Verification Code.
They must then send “VERIFY” followed by the Verification Code to 55019 or 66019. and the result will be uploaded, and the candidate will promptly receive a notification.
JAMB also said that candidates with two sittings will be directed to their e-Facility profile, where they should select “2026 UTME O’Level Upload”, enter their Verification Code and select the required subjects from their verified results.
The board also says candidates must select at least five and no more than nine subjects, with no subject selected more than once, before clicking “Apply the O’Level Results” to complete the upload.
Benjamin also said the new arrangement would reduce unnecessary visits to Computer-Based Test centres, queues and manual processes while addressing challenges including misplaced paper results, unverified or fraudulent results and errors in the manual entry of subjects and grades.
He adds that the initiative forms part of its renewed commitment to making its services easier, faster, safer and more convenient for candidates.
