SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT to the arrival time for candidates in the first session of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has been announced by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
JKNewsMedia.com reports that the arrival time has now been revised to 7:00am, replacing the earlier scheduled 6:30am for Session 1 of the examination.
However, the start time remains fixed at 8:30am, while the session will end at 10:30am as previously scheduled.
JAMB communicated the update via its official X handle on Monday, April 13, 2026, noting the revised reporting time for candidates.
Candidates are therefore informed that there is no requirement to reprint examination slips following the adjustment.
They are further advised to observe the updated timing and ensure punctual arrival at their designated centres to avoid disruptions.
