FROM ACROSS Kwara State and beyond, mothers gathered at Flower Garden, Ilorin, for a Team Ruby Moms Hangout focused on emotional well-being, sisterhood and social impact.
JKNewsMedia.com reports that the event, organised by Ruby Moms, an international community dedicated to empowering mothers, featured Emotional Intelligence Games designed to help participants develop self-awareness, manage stress, improve communication at home and raise emotionally healthy children.
Through team activities and guided reflections, the mothers explored practical approaches to resilience and conflict resolution within their families and communities.
Convener of Ruby Moms, Coach Bola Ajibade, called on single and married mothers to reject discrimination based on status, educational background or religion.
“Motherhood unites us all,” Ajibade said. “Whether you are single or married, whether you have a degree or not, whether you are Christian or Muslim, we are all raising the next generation. Let us choose love over judgment and support over competition.”
She also urged members to embrace the spirit of giving back to Just Moms, Ruby Moms’ outreach initiative providing welfare support, mentorship and resources to vulnerable mothers and children.
“When we give back to Just Moms, we strengthen the foundation of our society. An emotionally intelligent mother raises an emotionally intelligent nation,” she said.
Participants described the Ilorin gathering as refreshing and transformative, with the setting providing an opportunity for networking, wellness and open conversations among women.
Ruby Moms reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its programmes across Nigeria and globally while creating safe spaces where mothers can grow, connect and lead.
A release signed by Adesikeola Ajiboye said Ruby Moms is a global community focused on empowering mothers through emotional intelligence, mentorship and community service. Its Just Moms initiative supports vulnerable mothers and promotes family wellness.
