TWELVE NEW aides and twenty-seven liaison officers have been appointed to key roles across Ogun State as Governor Dapo Abiodun moves to strengthen his administration’s grassroots engagement and executive capacity.
A statement issued by Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, confirmed the governor’s approval of eleven Senior Special Assistants and one Special Assistant. The appointments come alongside the deployment of liaison officers to each of the twenty local government areas.
The new Senior Special Assistants are Ayo Somide, Laide Okunola, Sulaimon Oduwole, Adewale Adesina, Ola Olufunmilayo, Tayo Mabeweje, Basibo Odoru, Kehinde Bello, Ikienomore Oladipupo Adedeji, Deluola Daniel Babatunde, and Doregoes Aaron Oluwatobi. Rasheed Obanla was named as Special Assistant.
Liaison officers appointed for Abeokuta North are Wale Bello and Sulaimon Sanni, while Abeokuta South will be served by Odetayo Bolade Mutiu and Yomi Okanlawon. Ado-Odo/Ota received Alhaja Waliat Ogunbiyi and Otunba Rafiu Okewale. For Ewekoro, the liaison officer is Olabode Sunkanmi Adegoye. Ifo has Kikelomo Delano and Kola Hammed Adeniji.
Owolabi Okunnuga will serve Ijebu East, with Adeyemi Stephen and Nuberu Femi posted to Ijebu North. Ayo Ogunfowora was named for Ijebu North-East, and Oluwatosin Olatokunbo for Ijebu Ode. Subomi Olufemi Agesin will represent Ikenne, while Olusola Oke was assigned to Imeko/Afon.
The appointee for Ipokia is Wale Agbetokun, with Aderin Dopemu posted to Obafemi/Owode and Musiliu Akanji Akindele to Odeda. Odogbolu will be represented by Ladejobi Shuaib Adebayo, and Wale Ajayi will serve Ogun Waterside. Remo North will be overseen by Sorinola Rasheed.
In Sagamu, Tola Olutayo (Belgium) and Lizzy Jekami will serve as liaison officers. Prince Musibau Olaleye and Micheal Olalere Ejidele were appointed to Yewa North, while Samson Salako was named for Yewa South.
All appointees were urged to uphold diligence and align with the developmental agenda of the administration under the ISEYA mantra, which represents the pillars of Infrastructure, Social Welfare, Education, Youth Empowerment, and Agriculture.
