AMID PRESSING security concerns in Ogun State, Governor Prince Abiodun has pledged to enhance residents’ safety through dedicated policy initiatives integrated into the 2025 budget.

This commitment was underscored during a series of town hall meetings held across Ogun’s senatorial districts, culminating in a final session at the June 12 Cultural Centre in Abeokuta.

Since October 23, discussions have focused on citizen-driven contributions to the 2025-2027 Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF), emphasizing the role of resident feedback in shaping state policies.

Chief Economic Adviser and Commissioner for Finance Dapo Okubadejo, speaking on the governor’s behalf, highlighted the significance of public input for state development through town hall engagements.

Engagement meetings drew representatives from Ijebu, Remo, and Yewa districts. In Egba Division alone, over 600 kilometers of road projects have been completed or are ongoing.

Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebon, commended the governor’s infrastructure achievements, while Hon. Oludaisi Elemide, Ogun Assembly Speaker, praised Abiodun’s inclusive governance, urging continued progress to meet evolving community needs.
