RECOGNITION OF exceptional achievement marked a historic moment as Olu Adetutu, Certified Life Coach and Chief Executive Officer of Olumination Enterprises, Tampa, Florida, United States (US), emerged the winner of the 2025 Most Outstanding African and Black Transformational Speaker in the World Award.
She received an overwhelming total of 950,000 votes, making history as the first African native to attain such an honour on American soil.
The announcement was made during the 14th anniversary celebration of Naija Standard Newspaper Inc USA.

According to the NSN Award Selection Committee, Adetutu’s story of resilience and impact distinguished her from other nominees after seven months of investigation and a thorough review of votes cast across Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia.
The committee confirmed that her journey, which spans more than three decades across Nigeria and the United States, has touched millions of lives and continues to inspire audiences globally.
The committee stated: “After seven months of thorough investigation, and review of the entire African-Voice votes, the inspiring, true story of Olu Adetutu, a Certified Life Coach, Chief Executive Officer of Olumination Enterprises, Tampa, Florida, United States (US) stands out, as it touched millions of lives around the world.

In her journey of over three decades and two continents, this highly intelligent orator with positive impact on humanity overcame adversity that the vicissitudes of life brought her way in a warm embrace and received an overwhelming vote of 950,000 to emerge the winner in the recently held 14th year anniversary of Naija Standard Newspaper Inc USA.”
Her closest contenders included Najuna Albert of Uganda with 600,000 votes, Dr Chris Mauki of Tanzania with 220,000 votes, and South African motivational speaker Candice Mama with 155,500 votes.
Other notable finalists were Bernard Kelvin Clive of Ghana (120,000 votes), Abdelillah Habbat Idrissi of Morocco (190,000 votes), Ehi Iden of Nigeria (80,000 votes), David Adetayo Olusoga of Britain (55,600 votes), Steven Bartlett (30,500 votes), Lynette Ntuli of South Africa (42,000 votes), and Kevin Abdulrahman, representing the Middle East (25,500 votes).
The award organisers explained that a neutral “Global-Vote-Pool” was created across Africa, Europe, North America, and Asia to ensure transparency and fairness in selecting only prominent African motivational speakers with a proven record of positive impact.
They affirmed that Adetutu’s life experiences, including a near-death encounter that shaped her calling to illuminate the potential of others, played a defining role in her recognition.
Her professional journey through challenges and triumphs has been defined by her ability to bring hope to the hopeless and provide a voice for the voiceless.
Through her enterprise, Olumination, she has led motivational sessions and life coaching interventions that continue to shape careers, build resilience, and transform lives globally.
The NSN Award Selection Committee further acknowledged that Adetutu’s rare accomplishment stands as a testimony of perseverance, noting that she emerged not only as a Nigerian but also as an African whose achievement places her name in the global halls of fame.
The honour, they emphasised, represents recognition of her transformational work that transcends geographical boundaries.
Naija Standard Newspaper Inc USA confirmed that its regional editors in Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and America are preparing to spotlight Adetutu’s achievement on a global scale.
The organisation described her as a champion for the masses, respected for her ability to inspire irrespective of nationality and acknowledged for her consistency in giving hope to the downtrodden.

The award organisers also announced that Naija Standard Newspaper Inc USA has expanded its editorial presence internationally with new offices in Sydney, Australia, and Copenhagen, Denmark.
The official unveiling of these offices is scheduled for Saturday, 22 November 2025, in Sydney, and Saturday, 29 November 2025, in Copenhagen.
Nigerian ambassadors to Australia and Denmark, alongside officials of the African Union (AU) and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), are expected to lead the events.
Adetutu’s recognition as the 2025 Most Outstanding African and Black Transformational Speaker in the World underscores a career defined by resilience, courage, and a relentless drive to transform lives.
The votes in her favour, totalling nearly one million, represent global acknowledgement of her impact as a speaker, coach, and mentor whose influence continues to cross borders and inspire countless communities.
