Ogun State Police Command said the arraignment followed the arrest of the driver after the crash involving the Lexus SUV conveying Anthony Joshua and others occurred on Monday while the vehicle was travelling along the busy Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Babaseyi said the Lexus SUV was transporting Joshua and two of his friends, identified as Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami, at the time of the crash before the vehicle collided with a stationary truck around the Sinoma area near Sagamu in Ogun State.
The police said the collision led to the deaths of Ayodele and Ghami at the scene adding that Joshua and the driver sustained minor injuries from the crash.
Babaseyi said the driver was subsequently arrested by the police following the incident. He said the arraignment took place after the completion of preliminary police procedures.
