VIBRANT CONVERSATIONS and empowering messages filled the hall as Globacom’s female employees gathered for SheGlows 2025, an annual event dedicated to celebrating women’s wellness and professional growth.

The gathering, held at the Alliance Française, Mike Adenuga Centre in Lagos, centred on the theme “Wellness for Growth.” It drew participants from different departments of the company for an evening of learning, reflection, and inspiration.

In her address titled “Ten Stages of Wellness,” Dr. Olubunmi Aboderin-Talabi encouraged attendees to embrace every stage of life with confidence and balance. “Take your power back,” she said. “You can’t be pitiful and powerful at the same time.”

Fitness entrepreneur Bunmi George spoke next, urging participants to maintain discipline and resilience through healthy habits. “Your muscles are your longevity organ,” she noted, emphasising the link between physical strength and well-being.

The final session featured Executive Coach Ifeoma Williams, who discussed the importance of presence and influence in her talk, “Commanding the Room.” “When a woman truly glows,” she stated, “she grows.”

Those who could not attend physically participated virtually, allowing the SheGlows spirit to reach women across the organisation. Many participants described the experience as uplifting and memorable.

“It touched my core,” said Esther Ohiomoba from Enterprise Business. “My biggest takeaway is to let my brilliance serve, not intimidate. I’d love to do this again and again.”

Globacom noted that the event reaffirmed its commitment to empowering its female workforce through platforms that promote wellness, confidence, and leadership.
