Trump Declared In Excellent Health After Walter Reed Evaluation

MEDICAL FINDINGS from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center confirmed that President Donald Trump remains in excellent overall health following a scheduled follow-up evaluation, according to a memorandum issued by his physician, Navy Captain Sean P. Barbabella.

The White House had earlier announced that the president, 79, would undergo a routine semiannual physical at the Bethesda, Maryland facility on Friday.

During the visit, Trump also met with troops stationed at the hospital.

“President Donald J. Trump successfully completed a scheduled follow-up evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center,” Barbabella stated in his memorandum addressed to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

The physician confirmed that Trump received updated COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations as part of standard preventative care in preparation for upcoming international travel.

“President Trump continues to demonstrate excellent overall health,” he wrote, adding that the president’s cardiac age was determined to be “approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age.”

The memorandum emphasised that the president maintains “a demanding daily schedule without restriction,” affirming his continued physical capacity to perform official duties.

This latest evaluation marks Trump’s second medical check-up of the year, following a similar examination in April, when his physician also affirmed that the president “remains in excellent health.”

In July, the White House disclosed that Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a vein condition that causes mild swelling in the lower legs.

At the time, Leavitt stated that the condition was identified after the president experienced minor discomfort, adding that the medical team attributed bruising on his hand to frequent handshakes and aspirin use.

The Walter Reed assessment, according to Barbabella, confirms that the president’s overall condition remains stable and robust as he continues to fulfil his presidential responsibilities.
