SCHEDULED PASSENGER flights are set to commence at the Gateway International Airport (GWI), Ogun State, on Thursday, 7 October, after regulatory authorities cleared the new facility for operations.
According to the flight schedule released by the state government, the airline will operate two flights per week on the GWI-Abuja route every Tuesday and Thursday.

Flights will also depart the GWI airport at 8:30am and arrive at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, by 9:45 am. The return leg will depart Abuja at 4:00pm and land at GWI by 5:15pm.
The airline confirmed that ticket sales will commence from Thursday, 25 September, and will be available online, through registered travel agents, and at ticket desks located within the GWI.
The announcement marks a major step in enhancing connectivity for travellers in Ogun State and the wider South-West region.
Passengers from Ibadan, Ogun, Lagos, and Abuja will now be able to access more efficient air travel options while taking advantage of the facilities available at the state-of-the-art GWI airport.

According to the statement, the development has already generated considerable interest among members of the business and industrial sectors, contractors, bankers, government officials, and leisure travellers.
Many have expressed eagerness to use the airport, which provides convenient access to Lagos and other regions of the country.
The release, signed by Hon. Kayode Akinmade, Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to the Ogun State Government, also emphasised that the commencement of Value Jet operations represents a significant milestone for the new airport and for air travel connectivity within the region.
