THOUSANDS OF worshippers are expected at the Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC), this January as the ministry begins a series of special Sunday services designed to ignite a “fruitful, fulfilling and victorious” start to the year.

The Church notifies that services will hold every Sunday at its international headquarters in Gbagada, Lagos, and across all DLBC locations worldwide, according to a statement issued.

It strongly urges attendees to anticipate sessions focused on spiritual renewal, healing, deliverance and divine direction.

“This is a season of fresh encounter with God,” the church said. “It is a time when lives are transformed, destinies are reset, captives are set free, and burdens are lifted.”

Pastor William F. Kumuyi, the General Superintendent, will minister during the services, which begin at 7:45am as the organisers said the programme aims to help worshippers start the year on a strong spiritual note and establish a foundation for a rewarding year ahead.

“This is not just another church programme; it is a divine appointment,” the church added. “Every Sunday in January is an opportunity to connect with God’s inexhaustible power and step into a new season of victory.”

Church members and visitors alike are invited to participate, bringing friends, family members, and anyone seeking healing or divine intervention.

“Bring the sick, bring the broken, and come believing,” the church urged. “God is set to move mightily, and no one who comes in faith will return the same.”

Leaders also said the January services are intended to reinforce DLBC’s message of holiness, faith and dependence on God while establishing a positive spiritual tone for the new year.

The church noted that the programme will provide a platform for worshippers to experience personal transformation, spiritual empowerment and guidance for the year ahead.

Each session will allow participants to engage fully in worship, prayer and ministry, with emphasis on encountering God’s power personally, the release affirmed.

Organisers also emphasised that all Sundays in January will feature intensive prayer sessions, scripture teachings and opportunities for healing and deliverance as worshippers are encouraged to attend consistently throughout the month to benefit fully from the series.

Also, the church reiterated its commitment to creating an environment for spiritual breakthroughs. “Every gathering is an avenue for renewal, restoration and divine direction,” the statement said. Attendees are expected to leave the services spiritually strengthened and inspired for the year ahead.

The release reiterates that the DLBC, founded with a focus on holiness and faith, continues to maintain a global presence through its headquarters in Lagos and satellite congregations worldwide and added that the January covenant services represent an extension of its ongoing mission to guide worshippers in living a life aligned with God’s purpose.

The programme, organisers said, is open to all. and participation is encouraged regardless of prior church membership, as the services aim to provide access to spiritual resources, guidance and transformation for a wide audience.

“God’s presence will be experienced in a tangible way throughout the month,” the church added. “Every attendee is expected to leave empowered, renewed and ready to embrace a victorious year.”
