CONTINUOUS NETWORK re-engineering has remained a central focus for Globacom Telecommunications as the company marks 22 years of operation.
In its latest disclosure, the firm stated that recent system upgrades are already delivering results, with customers nationwide confirming noticeable improvements in both voice and data quality.
Subscribers in Lagos were among the first to affirm the gains.
Stephanie Ifeatu, who lives in Costain area of the city, described her experience as consistently reliable, noting that she relies on the Glo network daily for calls and browsing.
Another customer, Sani Sunday from Lagos Island, rated the service highly, saying the network has become more dependable and awarding it a ten out of ten for stability.
He also credited the company for faster internet speeds, which have made browsing more convenient.
For long-term users, the network’s reliability has stood out.
James Aondofa, who has been with Globacom for more than a decade, explained that a recent SIM swap, popularly called a “welcome back,” significantly enhanced his service.
According to him, lower call rates and stronger connectivity have reinforced his preference for the network.
He added that after trying other providers, he shifted his internet needs fully to Glo because of the consistent quality he experienced.
Outside Lagos, subscribers echoed similar sentiments.
In Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Godwin Ogharandukun Ofeoritse attributed improvements to wider coverage and access to a Gloworld service centre in the town.
Olajire Balogun from Oke Ayo also confirmed that both data and voice quality had become more reliable in the area. From Ibadan, United States-based entrepreneur Leke Okufuwa disclosed that he acquired four Glo lines to power closed-circuit television systems on his farm in Omi Adio.
He observed that the network provided the strongest coverage in the area, and he now plans to purchase a one-terabyte data bundle to sustain operations.
In Rivers State, subscribers also noted significant progress.
Paul Ije from Abuloma in Port Harcourt reported stronger signal strength and clearer voice quality with fewer dropped calls.
He added that browsing, streaming, and downloads had all become smoother and faster.
Similarly, in Edo State, residents including Emmanuel Omondiale from Airport Road, Patrick Osayimwe from 2nd Ugbor GRA, and Umelo Iyobosa from Sapele Road agreed that recent upgrades had boosted their satisfaction with the network.
Customers in Abuja provided matching testimonies. Biodun Ibrahim, who lives in Mpape, stated that recent changes made the network “super good” for both data and voice.
He encouraged more Nigerians to subscribe, describing the current service quality as the best he has experienced.
From Asokoro, Esther Atanze noted drastic improvement and praised the management of the company for paying closer attention to customer needs.
Mary John from Kubwa added that Glo has been her primary line for years, and she now enjoys smoother calls and video services without disruption.
These experiences, gathered from across different states, reflect a broader trend of rising customer satisfaction, according to Globacom, adding that its strategy of continuous network investment is central to delivering quality and affordable services.
The company assured that it will sustain ongoing infrastructure upgrades to strengthen service delivery nationwide.
Subscribers also acknowledged the company’s efforts to maintain its reputation as “the people’s network,” a title it has carried since its inception in 2003.
Globacom stated that as it marked its 22nd year, the feedback from customers across the country was imperative to the impact of its commitment to technology renewal and service improvements in Nigeria.
