Kenyan Journalist Caroline Nyanga Appeals For Global Help After Losing Wealth, Health And Career

MULTIPLE AWARD-winning Kenya’s investigative journalist Caroline Atieno Nyanga has made a global appeal for assistance after recounting how her media career, health, and fortune collapsed following years of dangerous reporting assignments and alleged encounters with forces of darkness.

Nyanga, a respected figure in Kenyan media with a background at the Standard Newspaper and KTN, stated that her professional courage once positioned her among the country’s most celebrated reporters.

She explained that her fearless pursuit of investigative stories on witchcraft, cemeteries, mortuaries, and occult practices eventually left her battling what she described as severe spiritual afflictions, mysterious illnesses, and financial ruin.

“I obtained three degrees: Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration, Political Science and Psychology, Bachelor of Journalism, and Master of Mass Communication and Journalism. I lived a carefree life. I loved life. I partied non-stop for three days.

“I believed fame, money and networking ruled the world. I lost my wealth, health, and have been undergoing spiritual deliverance for years. I want journalists to know that in our profession, encounters with demons or evil spirits could hardly be ruled out. There is a dark side to journalism,” Nyanga said.

She recalled amassing significant assets during the peak of her career, including land plots, vehicles, a house, a bar and restaurant, a tailoring shop, and poultry farms.

Her professional journey included interviews with prominent African political figures and musicians, alongside coverage of crime and sensitive human-interest stories.

However, Nyanga said her fortunes changed drastically after an assignment to interview a witchdoctor, which she claimed exposed her and her cameraman to terrifying encounters.

According to her account, the cameraman who accompanied her on the assignment died six months later. She explained that she began experiencing health complications, spiritual disturbances, and loss of personal possessions.

“There was a time I went to interview morticians, and they locked me inside the morgue with the dead for almost an hour.

“My encounter with evil spirits at the witchdoctor’s den was another chilling experience. From then on, my life took a turn for the worst. I could hardly sleep.

“Things were running in my bedroom. There was a time I began bleeding for five months,” Nyanga recalled.

She also described a period of rehabilitation through medical treatment, traditional therapy, and spiritual deliverance across different countries, yet said she continues to face severe struggles.

“I lost everything. My deliverance sessions have been going on for years now. If God can touch the hearts of destiny connectors and helpers to locate or assist, I will be glad,” she added.

Nyanga confirmed that her decision to speak publicly is intended as both a warning to fellow journalists and an appeal for humanitarian support.

She urged reporters to remain cautious when covering sensitive cultural or spiritual matters, warning that such assignments carry grave risks.

She also said she can be contacted directly by phone or WhatsApp @+254722818894 and +254724584443.

Nyanga also urged the public to support her YouTube channel, Caroline Nyanga Network, where she continues to share her experiences.
