TITLED “NIGERIANS Abroad” a new live radio programme is set to debut on Mainland 98.3FM Lagos State, described as Nigeria’s Number One Creative, Culture and Sound of Music Radio Station.
JKNewsMedia.com reports that the programme will be anchored and unveiled by Dr George Elijah Otumu, identified as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated international investigative editors, a multiple award-winning celebrity journalist and the incumbent elected National President of the Nigerian American Press Association in Houston, Texas, United States (US).
The show is described as the first of its kind on any Nigeria broadcast station since the nation’s Independence and is designed to celebrate the best of Nigerians overseas to the best of Nigerians in the Diaspora.

A statement issued and signed by Dr. Otumu notes that it will also feature outstanding Nigerian entrepreneurs, celebrities, newsmakers, unsung heroes, tech genius, sports champions and other Nigerians flying the flag of Africa’s most populous black nation in the eyes of the international community.
Participants will also join live from the US, Canada, United Kingdom (UK), United Arab Emirates (UAE), Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa, to mention a few.
“We will be bringing our global media networking and experience of close to three decades 30 years to bear on the morning drive slot coming soon, slated for Thursday at exactly 22.00hours GMT 10:00am Nigerian time,” Dr. Otumu said.
According to the statement, JKNewsMedia.com also reports, the live broadcast will stream at the same time around the world and is described as “the most entertaining, informative and culture driven morning belt on any radio station in the country”.
The programme, he added, “will further rebrand Nigeria’s image positively and attract Foreign Direct Investment into the country from Abroad”.
“It is your programme, my programme, and our programme,” Dr. Otumu stressed.
