THE NIGERIA Union of Journalists (NUJ) holds the third edition of its Milestone Recognition of Media Icons in Nigeria.

The event, holding at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, on Thursday, October 17, 2024, is organized by the National Secretariat of the NUJ under the leadership of Chief Chris Isiguzo.

It will celebrate distinguished media professionals who have left their mark on the journalism profession.

According to Otunba Gbenga Onayiga, Chairman of the Organising Committee, the event stands out for recognizing and honouring journalists while they are alive, rather than posthumously.
